Hi! I'm Blair Evanosky. I am a mom, wife, and physical therapist. My own sports-related injuries led me to the field of Physical Therapy. My education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in exercise physiology from UML (2006) and a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from Franklin Pierce University (2009). After working at and managing an outpatient orthopedic PT clinic, I became pregnant and realized how few resources there were for the pregnant and post-partum person in terms of exercising safely, reducing pain, and recovering from delivery. After having my baby, I had one doctor's appointment six weeks after giving birth, compared to my baby’s seven well visits the first year. I realized that sometimes mothers are all but forgotten about! My birth hadn't gone as planned, and my recovery was far from perfect – but my personal journey led me to this wonderful ability to care for pregnant and postpartum clients the way they should be cared for. When I'm not working, you can find me at a local park or farm with my kids and spending time outdoors, usually riding my bicycle or hiking.

"Jessie was able to help me significantly reduce my pain" - Jessica

Hello, I’m Jessie Hebert (“A-Bear”). I am a wife, mother of two young children, and a pelvic floor and pediatric occupational therapist.Growing up as a competitive gymnast, I suffered silently from stress incontinence, until one day in college I emptied my bladder in front of my friends while laughing (at which point the suffering was no longer a secret). Years later, I became interested in pelvic health when I started trying to conceive, fearing that if I peed in my pants already, I would definitely need my own diaper after having kids. Following the birth of my children, I became frustrated that the narrative for new moms is that it is “normal” to pee your pants or for your back to hurt or to feel weak and tired - but common does not equal normal!

As an occupational therapist, I am trained to look at the person in front of me as unique, with their own interests and values. I strive to deliver personalized and compassionate care to help my patients achieve their goals whether it be to carry the carseat without pain or a return to competitive athletics.I have additional interests in holistic wellness and lifestyle including prenatal and postnatal nutrition, mental health, and infant development and play. When I’m not working, I like to explore local playgrounds with my family, host BBQs and game nights, and listen to podcasts.

Hello, everyone! As a mother of three grown children, I can appreciate just how hard it can be to balance your own needs with those of your children. I have been very impressed with the caring work done by Blair and Jessie improving their clients' lives. After years of homeschooling my second and third child and working in the environmental field, I changed my focus to become a strength and conditioning coach and personal trainer six years ago. When not standing behind the door at the office, I can be found lifting weights (or my voice of enthusiasm) at the gym and walking in the woods.

Admin

Hello, I’m Theresa. I’m at the admin desk here at PPPT, ready to answer your questions, help you schedule, and create your superbills!

My alternate career (Technical Writing) has nothing to do with physical therapy, so over the last year I’ve been learning a lot from the therapists about the amazing complexity of women’s bodies, and the care that we sometimes need to feel our best. As a mother of two young adult daughters, I’m particularly grateful for the skill, knowledge, and compassion that our therapists offer to women. Pelvic floor therapy was not something offered “back in my day” (cue the victrola music), but thank goodness it’s available now.

Outside of work, I can be found on the trails trying to control my two poorly-behaved rescue dogs, Jazzercising, re-reading Jane Austen or Georgette Heyer, or hanging out with my family.
