"Blair was critical to my recovery" - Lori

"Blair is absolutely phenomenal!" -Brianna

"Blair has exceeded my expectations." - Heather

Hi! I'm Blair Evanosky. I am a mom, wife and physical therapist.  I grew up as an athlete playing multiple sports and having multiple sports related injuries. These injuries led me to the field of physical therapy. I completed my bachelors degree in exercise physiology in 2006 from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell and my doctorate degree in physical therapy in 2009 from Franklin Pierce University. I spent my first years working at and then managing an outpatient orthopedic physical therapy clinic. I then became pregnant and realized how few resources there were for the pregnant person in terms of exercising safely and reducing aches and pain throughout pregnancy. I was a physical therapist, I should know all of these things, I should have been trained in all of this, but I wasn't. I then became postpartum and felt as though I had no resources to help me. Complicating the lack of resources I also felt a huge shift of attention. When I was pregnant everyone was asking how I was after having the baby everyone was asking how the baby was. I had one doctors appointment 6 weeks after giving birth, my baby had 7 well visits the first year.  I was all but forgotten about. My birth hadn't gone as planned and my recovery was far from perfect. I started in the field of women's health selfishly. I needed to heal and I needed to feel strong again.  My personal journey led me to this wonderful ability to care for pregnant and postpartum clients the way they should be cared for.

My unique background with over 10 years of orthopedic experience and my passion for pelvic floor therapy fit perfectly to help pregnant and postpartum patients.  I have taken extensive post-graduate education to further my knowledge. I am a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist.  I have studied with Herman & Wallace, Dr. Sarah Duvall, Julie Weibe, Lynn Schlute and the Institute for Birth Healing.  I am also dry needling certified, Graston (IASTM) certified and trained in vestibular treatments.

When I'm not working you can find me at a local park or farm with my kids, trying a new beer at a local brewery with my husband or spending time outdoors, usually riding my bicycle or hiking.

"I'm so happy I started working with Jessie" - Sasha

"Jessie is amazing" - Victoria

"Jessie was able to help me significantly reduce my pain" - Jessica

Hello, I’m Jessie Hebert (“A-Bear”). I am a wife, mother of two young children, and a pelvic floor and pediatric occupational therapist.  Growing up as a competitive gymnast, I used to suffer silently  from stress incontinence, until one day in college I emptied my bladder in front of my friends while laughing (at which point the suffering was no longer a secret). Years later, I became interested in pelvic health when I started trying to conceive, fearing that if I peed in my pants already, I would definitely need my own diaper after having kids. Following the birth of my children, the more I learned, the more frustrated I became that the narrative for new moms is that it is “normal” to pee your pants or for your back to hurt or to feel weak and tired - but common does not equal normal! You may feel underprepared for the effect parenthood can have on your own body and all other aspects of your life. And it may seem like you are the only one going through this, but I promise you are not.

I was drawn to women’s health OT, specifically perinatal and postpartum, precisely because it can be such a pivotal time of change in a person’s occupations, routines, physical, mental and social well-being. OTs address physical function, psychological factors and environmental influence through a holistic and individualized approach. As an occupational therapist I am trained to look at the unique person in front of me as a person made up of their own interests and values, and I strive to deliver personalized and compassionate care to help my patients achieve their goals whether it be to carry the carseat without pain or a return to competitive athletics.

I have additional interests in holistic wellness and lifestyle including prenatal and postnatal nutrition, mental health, and infant development and play. When I’m not working, I like to explore local playgrounds with my family, host BBQs and game nights, and listen to podcasts.

"Shauna was able to help me significantly through the end of pregnancy and into postpartum" - Robin

Hi everyone! My name is Shauna Springer. I am a fiancé, mom, and occupational therapist. During my pregnancy, I had many appointments and felt cared for. Once my son was born, I realized I had only ONE follow up appointment. I felt like I needed much more than one ten- minute appointment, where I was “cleared” for exercise. Although I was eager to get back into the gym, I had no idea where to start. I began doing all kinds of exercise with zero guidance. I had thoughts of “what is wrong with me” because my core felt so weak, and I was not able to perform nearly as many exercises as I could prior to becoming pregnant. I also experienced incontinence during exercise. I felt alone and embarrassed. Looking back, I now know my body was NOT ready for all that exercise. I wished for more guidance on how to navigate the postpartum period but didn’t know where to look or who to ask. Based on my own experience postpartum, I was drawn to occupational therapy in women’s health, especially with those who are pregnant and postpartum. My goal is to be a resource and help women during these crucial phases of life.

As an occupational therapist, I am trained to treat each individual person in a holistic manner, fostering autonomy and independence. Along with physical function, I address activities of daily living, habits, roles, routines, and psychological factors. I really listen to all concerns and work with each client as a team to create individualized goals and a plan of care. I aim to improve the quality of life of others as much as I possibly can.

Other interests of mine include strength training, mobility work, and sensory processing in children and adults. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, going on walks through the trails with my dog, training at the gym, and trying out all the local restaurants.

Hello, everyone! As a mother of three grown children, I can appreciate just how hard it can be to balance your own needs with those of your children. I have been very impressed with the caring work done by Blair, Jessie and Shauna to help their clients improve their lives. After years of homeschooling my second and third child and working in the environmental field, I changed my focus to become a strength and conditioning coach and personal trainer four years ago. When not standing behind the door at the office, I can be found lifting weights (or my voice of enthusiasm) at the gym and walking in the woods.
