Nutrition

Are you pregnant and wondering if you’re eating the right foods for you and baby?

Do you want to ease the transition into postpartum knowing you’re prepared when it comes to recipes and meal time?

Are you breastfeeding and want to ensure that you're eating in a way that benefits the quality and supply of your breast milk?

Are you in need of help through a gestational diabetes diagnosis or nursing a baby with food allergies?

Nutrition is such an easy thing to put on the back burner when life gets in the way.

It's our goal for you to feel confident, prepared and overall less stressed when it comes to all things food-related (and maybe more!) through this whole motherhood journey.

Proper nutrition can:

Optimize nutrients for mama, and baby en utero

Improve breast milk nutrient composition

Optimize breast milk supply (and nutrient composition/nutritional quality) for nursing mothers

Improve pregnancy/birth outcomes

Lay the foundation for a healthy mindset (read: less stress, better coping abilities, etc).

Increase energy

Improve sleep

Hi, I'm Cori Morgan. I am a nutritionist, wife, and mom of 1 (hopefully someday 3).

I graduated from the University of Vermont's B.S. program in Nutrition, Dietetics and Food Science and went on to earn my M.S. in Applied Nutrition at Northeastern University.

As a lifetime foodie, I didn't enter this field to tell people what to eat. I chose this path with the idea that I could give people the tools and resources to live healthier lives while still enjoying all the foods they love. Because what good is being healthy if we're not happy?

It was in tackling the challenges of taking care of myself during my first pregnancy, and now postpartum journey, that I became passionate about perinatal nutrition. Even with all my experience educating people how to better nourish their bodies, I couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by these same things after the birth of our son. How was I expected to do anything more than take care of him at a time when it felt impossible to do so much as brush my teeth?

Well, hindsight is 20/20 and I started making notes of all the things I could've done differently to make life a little easier for future me and hypothetical pregnancy #2. As I worked, I kept adding more and more sections that I thought could be useful for others who were pregnant or postpartum. It wasn't until I had accidentally created a whole perinatal nutrition guide that I realized this might in fact be my calling.

Outside of work I enjoy trying new recipes, searching for my new favorite beer, and attempting (for a good 15 years) to learn how to surf.
